It is easy to perceive that there is pain along with pleasure in this life. The dualistic property of things is easily observed. What concerns me most is finding what lies beyond the obvious. There are theories and thoughts which attempt to disclose that which is veiled and bulk of them are in need of relevant examples. Life can be easy or difficult. That seems to be the norm. A hard life is nothing more than the other side of an easy life. Who can say that one is better than the other? A difficult life can lead a man to strive harder and cause him to achieve more. An easy life can make one soft. Which one is better than the other? Certainly, there are more underlying questions than these simple observations. To paraphrase the movie, there is more than meets the eye. Take the scriptures or the sutras. They seem to teach something relating to god, and conflict is what follows from espousing one or the other. I have often been confused by this situation and I cannot believe that one is superior to the other. For sure, there are other quantities at work than a simple belief in one or the other. One god is fine with me and there are many belief systems that allow for a multiplicity of gods. I have been mulling this and it seems to me to be an exhausting task at first glance. The question is raised, what could make anyone desire to adjust the mind in the first place? The thing of remaining the same can afford a safe feeling to people and we all are aware of people’s aversion to change. Whatever is out of the cyclical becomes terrifying and therefore unsavory. I suppose we can show a preference for one opinion or another and think up a lot of points to support one side and not the other. We might decide to do a bit indecisiveness and sit around until one side appears to be be more weighty and vote for that side. This is commonly done and there is nothing wrong with that. Nevertheles, we cannot do like an ostrich on the initiative that a number of people have to modify the world. The ones that belong to the oppressed or the have-nots have valid|some reason for wishing to change the world. These could be termed subversives. Well, there is nothing wrong with a little revolution here and there but it quickly becomes useless and un-progressive when it goes on for longer than necessary. People need a little bit of stability in order to be creative and too much revolution is not a good thing|at all desirable. Mental revolution would be great. I applaud that kind of changing. It might proceed to some change in the planet if it gains adherence. Is it therefore safe to propose that changing the planet can be obtained by changing the mind? It would be good to delve into that point and discover if it is valid. A mind that is too stiff and unchanging is eventually boring and lacks dynamism. I go for dynamism and would advocate that over staticity. Take care of your health. If this is the case then, I would surmise that being blessed with an active imagination is a good thing. I have heard people say, “be realistic”. Is this a wise saying? Or, something dense and somehow negative? would it put some limits on one’s life? I would like to think that there is no limit to one’s potential and that the limits imposed are arbitrary and boring.
